Neil McCance/ Johnny Hart in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 9 have won this years Carlow Stages Rally, only 15 sec adrift English visitor Simon Mauger and Carlow man Ken Blanche win Mk 2 Challenge and take a fine 2nd overall. Manus Kelly and Donall Barrett finish 3rd.

Derek McGarrity wins Tour of the Sperrins

Mc Garrity won this rally on the last stage, Sean Devine had to settle for 2nd best while Derek McGeehan took 3rd place.

Camillus Bradley was 4th overall and quickest of the 2wd.

Denis Cronin wins Rally of the Lakes

Their was a big surprise at this years 2010 Rally of the Lakes, at the start of the ss 12 Shanera rally leader Tim Mc Nulty who led from the start looked like he had things wrapped up but to his disapointment Tims Subaru S12B did not appear at the end of ss12 having suffered a blown gearbox the rally lead was now handed to Denis Cronin and Helen O Sullivan who appeared at the end of ss14 with a 36.5 sec lead from the Ford Focus of Aaron Mc Hale 2nd, and Craig Breen 3rd. 4th Alastair Fisher/Rory Kennedy, 5th Paul Bird/Kirsty Riddick ,6th Brian O’Mahony/John Higgins, 7th Colm Murphy/Don Montgomery , 8th Robert Barrable/Damien Connolly , 9th Thomas Fitzmaurice/Fionn Foley ,10th Marty McCormack/Dai Roberts.

Barry Meade in an Escort won the National section of the rally with Limerick crew Ed O Callaghan and Ger Clancy also in an Escort 2nd overall. Damien Mc Carthy was 3rd nearly 2 mins adrift in a Honda Civic.
